The MOST (Museum of Science and Technology) is a hands-on science center that encourages visitors to participate and operate exhibits. The museum is located in the former Jefferson Street Armory and includes over 200 exhibits as well as a 200-seat OmniTheater. MOSTs Science-Live Demonstrations are a colorful mix of science, education and entertainment! It"s a chance to learn about various science topics and experience first hand that SCIENCE IS FUN!
Bristol Omnitheater®
The Bristol Omnitheater at MOST is the only IMAX® Dome Theater in Central New York State and one of only 30 in the United States. The six story dome and 44 speakers completely envelope the viewer in this state of the art theater. The theater has 217 upholstered seats that recline at a 30 degree angle. The Bristol Omnitheater features a domed screen of perforated aluminum that is 66 feet in diameter and six stories tall. On the screen, viewers will experience images of unsurpassed size, clarity and impact.
Fall Museum Hours:
Wednesday - Sunday, 11 am - 5 pm
IMAX Movies will play on Saturday evenings until 9:00 pm
