Built in 1914, this steel-framed structure is owned and occupied by
Onondaga Music, the oldest retail company in continous operation in the
city. Copper-covered spadrels are placed between brick pilasters (flat
columns) that rise from the second to the fourth story. Being easier
to work with than most other metals, copper was often used for
ornamental work in architescture. Ornamental brickwork runs along the
upper cornice line.
