Flower Basket Waterers

Is someone you know looking for a full-time summer job outdoors? The Downtown Committee of Syracuse is searching for two (2) individuals to serve as Flower Basket Waterers as part of our seasonal staff.

The job’s primary responsibility is to water the hanging flower baskets and other planters throughout Downtown Syracuse. Flower Basket Waterers may be asked to help with additional program activities as schedules allow. The Waterers work 35 hours/week in the Downtown district and drive tractors with water tanks behind them. Individuals must be able to stand, walk, and lift; they will lift planted hanging baskets during installation and hold an extended overhead wand for daily watering.

Waterers must be available to work half-days on May 23 and 24 and full days on weekdays beginning May 28 and continuing through September 4th.
