    Weekends on Walton

Walton Street in the Armory Square neighborhood of Downtown Syracuse will provide additional outdoor dining and retail opportunities for visitors on Friday and Saturday as part of Weekends on Walton - a program created by the City of Syracuse.

To allow for this activity, the 100 & 200 blocks of Walton Street (Between Clinton Street and The Creekwalk) will close to vehicular traffic on Friday morning starting at 7:00 am and reopen Sunday morning by 7:00 am. 

The list of participating businesses (to date) that will provide outdoor dining experiences include:

  • Kasai
  • Pita Dream
  • The Hops Spot
  • Blue Tusk
  • Sakana-Ya Sushi Bar
  • Margaritas Mexican Cantina
  • The Limerick Pub

The City of Syracuse has made information available on how businesses in other neighborhoods and locations can apply to use the right of way (ROW). Parking: There is a variety of parking options available, including the Atrium Garage, Center Armory Garage and the Clinton Street Garage, Trolley Lot, Fayette-Clinton lot and a lot in between Walton and W. Weekends on Walton is led by the City of Syracuse's Department of Neighborhood and Business Development (NBD), Parks Recreation & Youth Programs, Department of Public Works (DPW), and the Central Permit Office.
