Prizewinners
The Society for New Music presents: 'Prizewinners' a celebration of new exporations in sound by prizewinning young composers. The concert features works by Ignacio Rosado and Edward Lu winners of the 2025 Israel/Pellman composition competition which celebrates young composers in New York State. Also on the program is the exciting and virtuosic harpsichord concerto by Armando Bayolo played by Ryan Chan. A reception will follow the concert for a chance to meet the composers and musicians.
The concert is Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 4:00 pm at St. Paul's church on the corner of East Fayette and Montgomery Streets in downtown Syracuse. Parking is available in the adjacent lot, entrance on Fayette Street. Advance sale tickets are available on the newly designed Society for New Music website. societyfornewmusic.org. General admission is 25.00, seniors 20.00 and students are always free with the Society for New Music.
