Earth Day Cleanup 2024

Syracuse, NY- Every April, the Downtown Committee of Syracuse organizes one of the largest Earth Day cleanups in the city. Community members are invited to roll up their sleeves to continue our beautification efforts in Downtown Syracuse. We look forward to the Earth Day Cleanup sponsored by CXtec tomorrow, April 20. “We are excited to partner with the Downtown Committee for the Earth Day Cleanup event to keep Downtown Syracuse clean and welcoming,” said Peter Belyea, Chief Executive Officer of CXtec. “We are new to the Downtown community, and we want to do our part to make it a great place to live, work and visit.” Throughout the morning, Downtown Committee staff will meet volunteers at designated locations in Downtown Syracuse. We provide gloves and trash bags, and outfit our volunteers with stylish, green t-shirts. We also provide volunteers breakfast snacks and a voucher to redeem at a Downtown Syracuse restaurant to enjoy lunch to show our appreciation for their help. Earth Day is a reminder for us to be better stewards of our earth.
