Thousands of Votes Determine Winning Designs in Eighth Annual Downtown Syracuse Window Wonderland Contest Hol;
Dozens of Downtown Businesses Decorate in the Spirit of the Season
Syracuse, NY – After thousands of people voted throughout the holiday season for their favorite window displays in the Downtown Committee of Syracuse, Inc.’s eighth annual holiday window-decorating contest, the winners have been decided!
- Soup R Salads, located at 308 S. Warren Street (map), earned first place ($500) in this year’s contest. The window display features a sleigh with lollipops and candy canes and plenty of holiday cheer.
- Lemp Jewelers, located at 300 S. Warren Street (map), earned second place ($250) in this year’s contest. The window display features a classic winter scene with festive falling snowflakes and checkered stockings.
- Costello, Cooney & Fearon, PLLC, located at 211 W. Jefferson Street (map), came in third place ($100) with a stunning display of a happy snowman and a fun winter landscape surrounded by white twinkling lights.
The Window Wonderland Contest was designed to boost holiday spirit, entertain visitors, and attract new customers to experience Downtown’s variety of retail, restaurant and cultural offerings. Holiday prizes are courtesy of the Downtown Syracuse Foundation!
