Downtown Syracuse Farmers Market Returns

The Downtown Syracuse Farmers Market Returns to Clinton Square on Tuesday, June 9th for its 54th Season  

WHAT: The Downtown Syracuse Farmers Market, organized by the Downtown Committee of Syracuse Inc. and presented by Community Bank, is gearing up to kick off its 54th season. Opening Day is next Tuesday, June 9th in Clinton Square and will feature fresh produce, seasonal vegetables, fruits, baked goods, flowers, plants, and more from local farmers and vendors. To enhance the vibrant atmosphere, patrons can enjoy live music during lunchtime, with a performance by the talented local Elvis impersonator, Tom Gilbo. “Community Bank continues to be proud to sponsor the Downtown Farmers Market, a cherished summer tradition that brings our community together and celebrates the hard work of local farmers and vendors,” said Lindsay Weichert, Regional President of Community Bank N.A. “As we settle into our Hanover Square branch and the neighborhood, we’re excited to deepen our connection with downtown. The market showcases the best of our region’s agriculture and strengthens the bonds among neighbors—values we hold close at Community Bank. We are excited to take part in this favorite downtown staple and look forward to celebrating with everyone all season long.” Every Tuesday through October 13th, rain or shine, the Downtown Farmers Market is your go-to destination to shop for fresh, locally sourced products. As the seasons change, expect to find new, seasonable products available each week. Additionally, enjoy live music every Tuesday (weather permitting) from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm as part of the “Lunchtime Live! Music Series,” made possible by the Tier Three Project Support program, a regrant program of the County of Onondaga with the support of the County Executive and administered by CNY Arts. The Market receives additional support from the Onondaga County Agriculture Council, Tomorrow’s Neighborhoods Today, and Excellus.  WHERE: Clinton Square, Downtown Syracuse  WHEN: Tuesday, June 9, 2026                 8:00 am – 2:00 pm *Please note, farmers will start setting up around 7:00 am on Tuesday, June 9*
