State Tower is located in Historic Hanover Square, in the center of the Central Business District. Standing 22 stories and 315 feet tall, State Tower is the tallest building in Central New York and offers unparalleled views. In 2018, Pioneer Companies completed a $40 plus million dollar restoration of State Tower, successfully preserving and restoring the landmark to its original glory. Pioneer created a truly urban mixed-use project at State Tower through an adaptive reuse of the upper 14 floors to high-end residential units and rehabilitation of the first 7 floors into Class A office and retail space. The project included significant structural and system upgrades as well as extensive repairs to the building’s elaborate masonry façade.
