Downtown Syracuse Dining Weeks Deals
Dozens of Downtown Syracuse restaurants will set their tables for the 2022 presentation of Downtown Dining Weeks. The promotion starts Tuesday, March 1 and continues through Sunday, March 13.
Spring Progress Breakfast
The Progress Breakfast Series celebrates the forward-thinking that has fueled recent redevelopment in Downtown Syracuse. The event, usually held in March and October, is known for providing ‘exclusive previews’ of people, places, projects and overall items of interest that the community is buzzing about. Unique to this event, presenters mingle with attendees in a personal networking setting following the event.
Earth Day Cleanup
Help give Downtown Syracuse a spring cleaning! Every April, we organize one of the biggest Earth Day clean-ups in the city. In April 2019, thanks to the help of 275 volunteers, public spaces throughout Downtown Syracuse benefited from more than 550 volunteer hours of community service! We are delighted to announce the return to an in-person event on Saturday, April 23, 2022
Downtown Living Tour
Come see what makes Downtown Syracuse one of the most desired places to live in Central New York! The Downtown Living Tour is a showcase of some of the newest, most talked-about addresses. Whether you want to live in Downtown Syracuse, are interested in architecture, historic preservation and/or urban living, or you’re looking for some design ideas, the tour offers something for everyone.
Downtown Committee Annual Meeting
Our Annual Meeting is a celebration of the announcements, people, projects and places that have contributed to Downtown’s growth, diversity and overall vibrancy. Highlights include a State of Downtown Report, highlighting the incredible investment activity underway and the presentation of the Downtown Awards of Excellence, honoring individuals for their positive impacts. We hope you'll join us on Thursday, June 23, 2022.
Downtown Farmers Market
Starring 50 of the region’s best farmers and produce dealers, the Downtown Farmers Market attracts as many as 5,000 people every Tuesday from mid-June through mid-October. The Market experience is enhanced through health and wellness initiatives, cooking demonstrations and live music entertainment during select weeks.
Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival
This spectacular three-day showcase of 170+ of the nation’s most talented artists, craftspeople, and entertainers is centered in Downtown Syracuse. The family-friendly festival attracts nearly 50,000 people every year. The event is one of the anchor events of ArtsWeek, a collaboration that celebrates visual and performing arts throughout Downtown Syracuse.
Employee Appreciation Week
Every September, we celebrate our Downtown workforce - now 29,000 people strong and growing - with a series of free activities, events and surprises designed with Downtown Syracuse employees in mind. Mark your calendars: Downtown Syracuse Employee Appreciation Week 2020 will be celebrated from September 16 – September 21.
